I saw your post about the DebuggerDisplayAttribute, and browsed through your blog a bit, nice stuff!

For the past year or so I’ve been working with a friend on a commercial extension to Visual Studio’s C# debugging experience called “BugAid”, and one of the things it does is offer an alternative to the DebuggerDisplayAttribute in the
form of stars that you can click that automatically change the way values of that type are displayed, without needing to stop debugging, recompile and re-run. I find this helps a lot when you
are debugging a deeply nested object graph.

Anyways, the product now is in beta and I would really love having more thoughtful people such as yourself trying it out and giving feedback, so if you’re interested, please check it out!
